LeBron James Headlines the NBA 2K19 20th Anniversay Special Edition

LeBron James had great 2018 season and is in the NBA Finals for the 8th year in a row now. So it is fitting that 2K Sports chose him for the cover of NBA 2K19 SE.

NBA 2K19 marks the 20th anniversary of the basketball franchise. That is why they chose LeBron James, arguably the best player in the league right now, as the cover athlete for the 20th Anniversary Special edition of the game. The Special Edition will be released on September 7th for the PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch. This is 4 days ahead of the Standard Edition.

The Special Edition cover shows a close up of LeBron James in front of a Black and Gold graffiti-ridden wall. It is also worth noting that there is no indication of what jersey he is wearing. This is 2K Sports playing safe after the Kyrie Irving debacle last season since LeBron James will be a free agent this off-season.

NBA 2K19 20th Anniversary Special Edition will be priced at USD 99.99. This will come with a few freebies as well:
