1. Have patience and be self-sufficient - Being a newbie in Warframe is an overwhelming feeling. The game itself is pretty deep. However, since this game has been around since 2013 resources for learning are plenty. We have the Warframe Wiki, YouTube and the Codex. Reading is one of the most helpful skill you can have, not only in Warframe, but in life.

2. Stop watching your foundry Tenno - You have a new Warframe cooking in your foundry? You don't have anything else to do you say? There are a lot of things to do in Warframe than just watch the seconds tick by in your foundry queue. Clear the star chart, finish the quest, farm for components and resources, hek (get that pun?), why not farm for more Warframes, weapons, mods and stuff? This is all applicable for solo players, once you are in a clan, you have a lot of things to do as well.

3. Join a clan
- Once you reach the Mastery Rank that allows you to join a clan, join one. Find one from the same country or even an international English-speaking clan. It's better if they have a Discord server for a more real-time communication. An active clan can help you get through the game, teach you the mechanics, and most of all bring the feeling of camaraderie.  You can help in their research so you can take advantage of the weapons and items that can be crafted in your dojo as well.

4. Spend your starting Platinum wisely - I can't stress this enough. I, for one, spent my starting plat on the Nekros Agile Animation Set. I then found out that I could've bought 2 additional Warframe slots since I already have 50 Platinum to start out with. That was a mistake I regretted. Now, I pass this knowledge to you. Buy 2 Warframe slots + 1 Weapon slot for 50 Platinum and you'll be set for a while.

Another note, DO NOT SPEND PLATINUM FOR RUSHING YOUR FOUNDRY! That is inefficient and downright wasteful. You can make the time pass by faster by doing quests or farming runs. And Tenno, sleep once in a while, that is already 8 hours of your foundry time off already.

5. Take it slow - Do not be overwhelmed by the steep learning curve that this game has. Overtime, you will understand more information as you progress in the game. Yes, you can clear the star chart faster by asking high level peeps to taxi you around the chart, but that will not improve your knowledge. The game has a great story so why rush through it? The end game will not go anywhere. Take your time.

Tenno, these are the very basic stuff that we can suggest to you. There will be some Warframe spotlights in the future for more in-depth discussions about mechanics, weapons and Warframes. Stay tuned!
