GTA Online players that GTA VI is coming out in 2019. People went online to confirm this and Rockstar Games confirms it to be fake. It is done by a modder.

Apparently, a modder found an exploit on Rockstar's Social Club messaging system and planted the message just to cause a commotion. Hundreds of players reported the appearance of the said message on Reddit and GTA Online forums. This is when Rockstar Support Twitter stepped in to confirm that the message was indeed a hoax.
Rockstar Games has not explained how this ended up happening. But, the GTA community pointed out a few indications that gave the hoax away. First, the message was more popularly seen on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC versions of the game were mods and hackers are flocking.
It is also not in line with Rockstar's character to release information about one of their flagship franchises in such an unprofessional way. Besides, information about GTA VI will definitely steal the spotlight from the release of Red Dead Redemption 2 that is slated for an Octiber 26,2018 release.
