Acer Predator Helios 500 gaming notebook launched

Acer Predator gaming notebooks are to deliver a superb gaming experience. They are aiming to continue that by releasing the Helios 500.

The Acer Predator Helios 500 is a gaming machine through and through. It can have up to an 8th Gen Intel Core i9 processor that can be overclocked. It also has Intel Optane Memory for a more efficient response rate and load times as well as up to 64GB of RAM. 

It can support the small and fast NVMe PCie SSDs for fast data transfer rates and load times. It can house up to an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 which can also be overclocked. The Killer DoubleShot Pro networking technology will make sure you will have the most stable connection while gaming.

There are two display variants available which are a 4K UHD or FHD 17.3-inch display with a 144Hz refresh rate. INVIDIA G-Sync technology will also be supported for both the built-in and external displays that you connect to it. 

In terms of I/O ports, the Helios 500 has dual Thunderbolt 3 ports, a display port and HDMI 2.0 ports allowing for up to 3 external displays. The Helios 500 will have two speakers, a subwoofer, TrueHarmony and Waves MAXXaudio technology.

Overclocking means heat. That is why the Helios 500 promises has 2 of Predator Gaming's very own AeroBlade 3D metal fans with five heat pipes for a great thermal management system. Fan speeds can be controlled through the Predator Sense app.
